Jac’s River Adventure is a short poetic journey along the River Tawe with Jac a descendent of Swansea Jack. The book is based on walks that I did each season in 2019 along the River Tawe. During those walks I learned a lot about the river and its tributaries including those humans and non-humans that are part of it. The story shares local and hydrological words as well as historical, geographical and ecological themes. Activities in the book were designed by colleague Daphne Giannoulatou, and the design of the book was by Joelle Evans. The books have been shared in a half-dozen schools around Swansea, Wales and shared with 100s of people. The book is in English and Welsh (translated by Aneirin Karadog) and availabel for download here.
